TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to accept an easement deed for the dedication of new street right-of-way related to the development of Douglas Park. (District 5)
DISCUSSION
The Boeing Company is in the process of building infrastructure for the development of Douglas Park and improving adjacent street rights-of-way consistent with project conditions and mitigation requirements. At this time, a small additional portion of Cover Street west of Paramount Boulevard should be dedicated as public street right-of-way, as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
In conformance with the California Environmental Quality Act, Environmental Report Number 2001051048 was certified for this project.
This matter was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney Linda Trang on January 19, 2010, and by Budget and Performance Management Bureau Manager David Wodynski on January 26, 2010.
TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
City Council action on this matter is not time sensitive.
FISCAL IMPACT
A document processing fee of $1,089 was paid by the developer and deposited in the General Fund (GP) in the Department of Public Works (PW).
