Approval of this item is requested on April 18, 2023 as the event is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 2023 (prior to the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting).

FISCAL IMPACT

This recommendation requests the City Manager to provide a contribution to Bridge the Gap Tennis Management to support the Free Youth Tennis Play Day. The total appropriation increase of $5,000 in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department will be offset by a decrease in appropriation of the Fourth Council District One-time District Priority Funds in the General Fund in the Citywide Activities Department. This recommendation is anticipated to require a minimal level of staff time beyond normal budgeted scope of duties and is expected to have minimal impact on existing City Council priorities.

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.

Respectfully Submitted,

DARYL SUPERNAW COUNCILMAN,
