DISCUSSION
I would like to honor Ashlee Armond and her family by installing a sign at Channel View Park in her memory, in partnership with the Long Beach Police Officers Association ending approval from their board on April 18th, 2023. Ashlee Armond, a graduate of Millikan High School, was 20 years old when she passed in a car accident at Channel View Park.

Ashlee is known for her kindness and care for others, her contagious sense of humor, and for lighting up every room she walked into. Ashlee is survived by Rich, her father and Long Beach Police Officer, Shelly, her mother, as well as her younger brother Andrew.

I am proud to carry this item forward as I know it was an important project started by former Councilmember Suzie Price.

This matter was reviewed by Budget Analyst Joe R. Guerrero on April 10, 2023.
