TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay sum of $75,000, in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Jane Doe v. City of Long Beach, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 22STCV16940.
DISCUSSION
Plaintiff alleges that during her employment as a City Refuse Operator she was harassed and discriminated against.
Following extensive negotiations, Plaintiff agreed to accept $75,000.00 - inclusive of costs and fees - as a full, global settlement of this case.
The settlement was discussed in closed session, and approved, by the Government Operations and Efficiency Committee (Attorney/Client) on March 21, 2023.

Approve recommendation.
