DISCUSSION
The Salvation Army Red Shield Community Center is hosting their Annual Red Kettle Christmas Dinner on December 1, 2022, from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. All proceeds from the fundraising dinner will go towards the Red Shield Marketplace food bank and social services to help with Christmas needs and needs for low-income and no-income individuals and families in Long Beach throughout the year.

The Belmont Shore Christmas Parade is returning this year on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The parade route is along East Second Street, beginning on Livingston Avenue and heading east towards Bayshore Avenue. The Christmas Parade is one of the biggest parades of the year in Long Beach and one of the largest Christmas parades in the region. Families line up along 2nd Street for a seat or best viewing of the night-time event that includes Santa Claus, plenty of elves, and colorful bands, costumes, floats and surprises.
