Recommendation to adopt resolution in Support of the Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Energy Systems (ARCHES). (Citywide)
DISCUSSION
Pursuant to the City Council's request on July 12, 2022, we have prepared the attached Resolution in Support for the Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Energy Systems (ARCHES) for the Council's review and approval.
This Resolution supports ARCHES' initiative as it applies for federal Hydrogen Hub designation and funding, as well as directs the City Manager, or designee, to coordinate with all relevant City departments under their direction to join the ARCHES public private partnership initiative with the objective of creating a winning Hydrogen Hub proposal for California.
