TITLE

Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $4,000, offset by the $2,000 of the Fourth Council District One-time District Priority Funds and $2,000 of the

Third Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to provide a contribution to The Rancho Los Alamitos for the Cottonwood Awards Luncheon; and

Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $4,000 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.

DISCUSSION

The Rancho Los Alamitos is hosting their annual Cottonwood Awards Luncheon on May 26, 2022. Supplemental funding was needed for this community event.

FISCAL IMPACT

This recommendation requests the City Manager Department to provide a contribution to The Rancho Los Alamitos for the Cottonwood Awards Luncheon. The total appropriation to increase in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department in the amount of $4,000 is offset by a decrease of appropriation of $2,000 from Fourth Council District one-time District Priority Funds and a decrease of appropriation of $2,000 from Third Council District one-time District Priority Funds in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department. Completing this work is anticipated to result in a minimal impact to staff hours beyond normal budgeted scope of duties and a minimal impact on City Council priorities.
