TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $500, offset by the Third Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to provide a donation to Khalo Creative LLC to support the Absolute Best of Long Beach event; and
Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $500 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
DISCUSSION
The Absolute Best of Long Beach 2022 seeks to recognize everything that is wonderful about Long Beach from businesses, to organizations to individuals. As we continue to make progress our of the COVID-19 emergency, events like this serve to highlight the positive work and contributions occurring throughout the City, while also creating an opportunity for people to come together in support of our amazing City. With these clear City priorities in mind, it is appropriate for the City to support this event.

Event scheduled for April 16, 2022 which makes the contribution requested in a timely manner.
FISCAL IMPACT
No Financial Management review was able to be conducted due to the urgency and time sensitivity of this item.
