FISCAL IMPACT

The recommendation requests the City Manager to provide donations of $500 to Collins Neighborhood Association; $470 to AOC 7; $400 to Wild West Women Inc; $350 to Long Beach Historical Society; $500 to Friend of the Long Beach Public Library; $500 to  Puente Latino; $100 to Hamilton Neighborhood; $500 Long Beach Camerata Sing, totaling $3,320, to support the events as written above.  The total appropriation increase in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department in the amount of $3,320 is offset by a decrease of appropriation of Ninth Council District One-time District Priority Funds in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department.  Implementing this recommendation is anticipated to result in a minimal level of staff hours beyond the normal budgeted scope of duties and is expected to have a minimal impact on existing City Council priorities.
