TITLE
Recommendation to cancel the December 1, 2020 City Council meeting, or to receive direction from the City Council to lay over certain items from the November 17 meeting to the December 1, 2020 meeting. (Citywide)
DISCUSSION
City staff does not have any planned items for the December 1, 2020 agenda. However, the City Council meeting scheduled for November 17, 2020 has 74 items listed on the agenda. Through this recommendation, staff is presenting the City Council with the option to cancel the December 1 meeting, or to receive direction to lay over certain items from November 17 to December 1, if Council deems necessary.
This matter was reviewed by City Attorney Charles Parkin and by Budget Manager Grace H. Yoon on November 11, 2020.
TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
City Council action is requested on November 17, 2020.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this recommendation. This recommendation has no staffing impact beyond the normal budgeted scope of duties and is consistent with existing City Council priorities.
