TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $448, offset by the Second Council District One-Time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to provide a donation to AOC7 for their food pantry event that took place on June 5, 2020; and
Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $448 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
DISCUSSION
AOC7 neighborhood group stands for Anaheim, Orange, Cherry and 7th St. These streets represent the borders of the 2nd, 4th and 6th Council districts. AOC7 was founded to improve the overall quality of life through community engagement, cleanups, and supporting families in need.
Due to the circumstances of COVID-19, many families have faced challenges, including not having enough means to provide food on the table. With a giving heart, AOC7 neighborhood group hosted a one-time event on Friday, June 5, 2020 in partnership with local grocery stores, to provide a food pantry to support families in need.
This matter has been reviewed by Budget Manager Grace H. Yoon on June 4, 2020.

FISCAL IMPACT
This recommendation provides funds for the City Manager Department to provide a donation to AOC7 for their food pantry event on June 5, 2020. The total appropriation increase in the General Fund Group by $448 is offset by a decrease of appropriation of the Second Council District One-Time District Priority Funds in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department. The requested action is anticipated to require a minimal level of staff hours beyond the budgeted scope of duties and is expected to have a minimal impact on existing City Council priorities.
