TITLE

Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund (GF) in the Public Works Department (PW) by $1,850, offset by the Second Council District one-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department (XC) for the repair of the North Alamitos Beach historic marker; and

Decrease appropriations in the General Fund (GF) in the Citywide Activities Department (XC) by $1,850 to offset a transfer to the Public Works Department (PW).

DISCUSSION

The repair of the North Alamitos Beach historic marker will support the efforts around the repair and beautification of the North Alamitos Beach neighborhood. Per the City's "Procedures for Implementation of Divide by Nine Funding," the Second Council District is requesting to transfer one-time District Priority Funds to the Public Works Department to cover the expenses for the repair of the historic marker.

FISCAL IMPACT

The total appropriation increase of $1,850 in the General Fund (GF) in the Public Works Department (PW) is offset by a decrease of appropriation of Second Council District one-time District Priority Funds in the General Fund (GF) in the Citywide Activities Department (XC).

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.

Respectfully Submitted,

JEANNINE PEARCE
