TITLE
Recommendation to request to suspend Council rule contained in Long Beach Municipal Code Section 2.03.020 (B) to cancel the meeting of October 16, 2018.
DISCUSSION
The City Council meetings are generally held every Tuesday, except the last Tuesday of each month. October 2018 has five Tuesdays, and in an effort to realize budget savings, it is recommended that we cancel the meeting on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
Regular meetings would still occur on the following dates In October:
• October 2, 2018
• October 9, 2018
• October 23, 2018
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact, other than cost savings from not having a meeting.

Approve recommendation.
