TITLE

Recommendation to approve the use of the Fourth Council District's one-time infrastructure funds in the Capital Projects Fund (CP) in the Public Works Department (PW) in the amount of $19,681 to support the installation of Driver Feedback signs at various locations in the Fourth Council District.

 

DISCUSSION

With concerns around traffic safety throughout the Fourth Council District additional signage is needed to reduce traffic speeds in specific neighborhood areas including: on 10th Street between Euclid Avenue and Roswell Avenue, on Termino Avenue between 15th Street and Wilton Street; and on Woodruff Avenue near Tevis Avenue.

 

FISCAL IMPACT

The total project cost of $19,681 is funded by the Fourth Council District's one-time infrastructure funds in the Capital Projects Fund (CP) in the Public Works Department (PW).

 

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.
