TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Manager to execute an agreement with the firm of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo in connection with employment investigations.
DISCUSSION
On November 14, 2016, the City Attorney's office executed Purchase Order No. BPLW17-04 with the firm of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo in the amount of $200,000 for employment investigations. We are now on the verge of exceeding the amount of the purchase order.
Therefore, the City Attorney's office is requesting City Council authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with the firm of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo for an additional $200,000.00 in order that they may continue to represent the City's interest in employment investigations.
