TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Manager to execute an agreement with the firm of Taubman, Simpson, Young & Sulentor, to assist the City Attorney with Civil Service Disciplinary Hearings (Prop F).
DISCUSSION
The City Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with the firm of Taubman, Simpson, Young & Sulentor for an additional $150,000.00, in order that they may continue to represent the City in the prosecution of disciplinary matters before the Civil Service Commission. This expenditure is made necessary by the fact that a legal conflict prevents the City Attorney's Office from performing these services.
