TITLE
Recommendation to receive and file a report on travel to Hampton, Virginia to participate in the NUSA (Neighborhoods USA) Annual Conference, May 21 - 24, 2008.
DISCUSSION
On May 21st to May 24th, I attended several workshops including "Miracle on Andy Street - How Partnerships Transformed a Community in Long Beach" as part of a panel discussion.
Attending NUSA sends a strong message that our city believes in the power of neighborhoods. The valuable skills I learned allows me to improve our neighborhoods.
