TITLE
Recommendation to receive and file a report on travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to participate in the International Council of Shopping Centers Convention, May 17 - 20, 2008.
DISCUSSION
On May 17 to May 20, I attended several round table sessions that covered marketing, design, construction, global practices, and panel discussions promoting Long Beach to development teams in hopes to bring their companies and businesses to our great city.
Elected and public officials from all corners of the world were present for networking, and education. Leaders in the retail, and real estate industry participating in this trade exposition making this trip a benefit to our city.
