TITLE
Recommendation to approve the revised appointments to the Standing Committees, Authorities and Memberships for the Elections Oversight Committee, the Personnel and Civil Service Committee, and the State Legislation and Environmental Affairs Committee.
DISCUSSION
Due to vacancy of the Second Councilmanic District, the following revisions have been made to the Standing Committees, Authorities & Memberships (revisions are in bold):
Elections Oversight Committee

Laura Richardson, Vice Chair
Rae Gabelich, Member
Personnel and Civil Service Committee
Frank Colonna, Chair (formerly Vice Chair)

For your reference attached is the revised roster reflecting these changes for the 2004-2006 Standing Committees, Authorities & Memberships. Mr. Baker's former positions as an alternate on the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority, the League of California Cities board and the Los Angeles County Sanitation Board, and as a board member on the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Rivers Watershed Council will remain vacant until so designated by the next mayor.
