Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay the sum of $15,000 in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Reynoso v. City of Long Beach.
DISCUSSION
On April 28,2004, a City van rear-ended Plaintiffs vehicle that was stopped for a pedestrian. As a result of the accident, Plaintiff incurred medical expenses and damage to her vehicle. After extensive discussion, a tentative global settlement of $15,000 was reached.
