TITLE
Recommendation to refer the proposed Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 2006 to the Planning Commission for review of its consistency with the General Plan.
DISCUSSION
In accordance with the City Charter, the City Manager has submitted the Capital
Improvement Program (CIP) for Fiscal Year 2006 to the Mayor who, in turn, transmitted
the document to the City Council. tn addition, Article X, Section 1002(e) of the City
Charter requires that the Planning Commission review the proposed CIP for consistency
with the Generat Plan. The Planning Commission will then forward its findings to the
City Council for consideration.
This matter was reviewed by Budget Management Officer David Wodynski on July 28,
2005 and Senior Deputy City Attorney Donna F. Gwin on July 29, 2005.
