TITLE
Recommendation to receive and file report on California League of Cities Policy Committee Meeting.
DISCUSSION
On January 17th, 2013, I traveled to Sacramento for a conference held by the California League of Cities. During this one-day visit, I attended a briefing held by the League on statewide issues affecting cities and participated in one of the League's policy committees. Among other topics, I advocated for an equitable distribution of Proposition 39 funding for cities, so that Long Beach and our peer municipalities can have the opportunity to apply for state clean energy grants.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no significant fiscal impact for the receipt of this report.

Approve recommendation.
