DISCUSSION
On July 22, 2011, a work crew from Public works Traffic Operations, during their auger boring operations, came in contact with a Verizon Wireless utility line. The cost to repair the Verizon Wireless utility line is $33,368.07. Verison California has agreed to accept $33,368.07 as full settlement of this claim. The settlement was approved by the Economic Development and Finance Committee on February 7, 2012.
