TITLE
Recommendation to request City Attorney to accept easement deeds for water and natural gas easements within the Villages at Cabrillo at
2001 River Avenue. (District 7)
DISCUSSION
The Villages at Cabrillo, an assisted housing development, is served by public water
and natural gas mains located under private roadways running through the site. The
Water and Energy Departments require that easements for their facilities be provided as
shown on the attached Exhibit A. The required grants of easement prepared by Deputy
City Attorney Lisa Peskay Malmsten have been executed by Century Housing, the
property owner, and reviewed by her on July 28, 2005. In conformance with the
California Environmental Quality Act, Negative Declaration No. ND 23-93 was certified
for this project.
