Recommendation to receive and file a report on travel to
Washington, D.C.
DISCUSSION
On May 4, 2015, I traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with White House officials to discuss the President's initiative to end veteran homelessness, which Long Beach has adopted, as well as issues related to the Port and international trade. I also attended a White House reception at the request of the President.
