TITLE
Recommendation to receive and file travel report on League of California Cities 2008 Legislative Action Days, April 16 - 17, 2008.

DISCUSSION
I would like to take this opportunity to file a travel report as required by AB 1234 for activities consistent with the definition of "official City Business" under the City Auditor's Travel and Reimbursement Policy for Non-AR Departments:

· Meetings with government and business leaders for the purpose of carrying out official City business;
· Non-partisan conferences, training and education trips, including visiting other governments to discuss and observe best practices;
· Travel in furtherance of an adopted policy, ordinance or City resolution.

My attendance at the following League of California Cities (LCC) Meeting was authorized in the capacity of the City's membership with the League and my membership in the LCC Latino Caucus.
