TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund (GF) in the City Manager Department (CM) by $70,000, offset by the First Council District one-time infrastructure funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to support the 2018 Dia De Los Muertos Celebration; and
Decrease appropriations in the General Fund (GF) in the Citywide Activities Department (XC) by $70,000 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
DISCUSSION
In accordance with the City’s “Procedures for Implementation of Divide by Nine Funding,” the First Council District is requesting that its one-time infrastructure funds be transferred to the Special Events Office in the City Manager Department to cover expenses for the event.
FISCAL IMPACT
The total appropriation increase of $70,000 in the General Fund (GF) in the City Manager’s Department (CM) is offset by a decrease of appropriation of one-time infrastructure funds in the General Fund (GF) in the Citywide Activities Department (XC).
