TITLE

DISCUSSION

On April 30, 2012, a Long Beach police officer came in contact with the front end of the car driven by Ariana Acosta. At the time, the police officer was looking down at his in-car computer.

The insured's car suffered major front-end damage.  After negotiations, the claimant insurance company has agreed to accept $10,385.13 from the City as full settlement of this claim.

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.
