TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Compromise and Release for approval by the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $94,000 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Cathy Guevara.

DISCUSSION

Cathy Guevara has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Government and Personnel Attorney-Client Committee on March 15, 2022, approved the submission to the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board of Compromise and Release by the City and Cathy Guevara in the amount of $94,000.00.

Approve recommendation.
