Recommendation to refer to City Attorney damage claims received between October 24, 2022 and November 7, 2022.
DISCUSSION
In compliance with California law, the attached list of claims for damages is hereby presented to the City Council. The attached report lists claims for damages received by the Office of the City Clerk as of 12:00 noon each Monday (if Monday is a holiday, then the proceeding Friday).
Upon approval of the suggested action, the Office of the City Clerk will forward the list of claims for damages and copies of the corresponding documents to the City Attorney for further review and investigation.
FISCAL IMPACT
The processing of claims for damages is a budgeted service within the Office of the City Clerk FY22 Budget.
SUGGESTED ACTION
Approve recommendation.
