TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Manager to execute an agreement with the firm of Brutzkus Gubner in the Bankruptcy matter entitled EHT, US1, INC., et al, Case No. 21-10036-CSS.
DISCUSSION
The City Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with the firm of Brutzkus Gubner in a total amount not to exceed $400,000 (including funds already expended), in order that the firm may continue to represent the City's interest in the above-entitled matter. The firm previously had represented the City in connection with the above-entitled matter pursuant to a purchase order, but the total fee amount recently exceeded the maximum amount authorized for purchase orders.
FISCAL IMPACT
Payment for these services will be paid by the Economic Development Department.
