On July 28-29, 2006, I traveled to Cabazon in order to attend the Legislative Black Caucus Retreat. The annual retreat is an opportunity to meet with elected officials from around the state, to share ideas and to discuss issues of vital concern to the City of Long Beach, to network with colleagues from around the state and to share ideas and views on how to address our mutual concerns and interests.
