TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Compromise and Release for approval by the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $95,000 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Shanda Dinsdale-Kunkle.

DISCUSSION

Shanda Dinsdale-Kunkle has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Government Operations and Efficiency Committee on April 18, 2023, approved the submission to the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board of Compromise and Release in the amount of $95,000.00 by the City and Shanda Dinsdale-Kunkle.
