TITLE
Recommendation to receive and file the application of Crystal Car Wash, Incorporated, dba Crystal Auto Spa, for an original Alcoholic Beverage Control License, at 3525 East Anaheim Street, and submit a Public Notice of Protest. (District 4)
DISCUSSION
It is City Council policy to review applications for Alcoholic Beverage Control Licenses to determine if a basis for protest against the issuance of the license exists. The attached application lists the possible bases for protest.
TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) received the above application on November 21, 2012; however, the applicant has not yet applied for a Conditional Use Permit with the City. City Council response is due to the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control by January 10, 2013. Accordingly, City Council action is required at the January 8, 2013 City Council meeting.
