TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $689, offset by the First Council District One-time District Priority Funds, transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to provide a donation to Partners of Parks to support the AOC7 Neighborhood Group; and

Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $689 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.

DISCUSSION
AOC7 stands for Anaheim, Orange, Cherry & 7th St but also a community. These four streets represent the borders of a shared community across many Long Beach City Districts (2nd, 4th & 6th District). AOC? is a neighborhood organization founded to improve the overall quality of life within their community and is committed to accomplishing its mission by joining residents and businesses to prevent community deterioration and enhance public safety. AOC? continues their mission by organizing neighborhood block resource events with the most recent event held on July 31s' at 14'h Street Park in the Washington Neighborhood. The event brought together various community-based organizations, local city health departments, and a vaccination clinic. This donation is to help offset some costs with the event and further support the mission of the AOC7 Neighborhood Group.

TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
Donation is for the Washington Neighborhood Block Party that took place on, July 31s', 2021, and in support of the AOC7 Neighborhood Group.

FISCAL IMPACT
This recommendation requests the City Manager to provide a donation to Partners of Parks to support the AOC7 Neighborhood Group. The appropriation increase of $689 in the General Fund Group in the City Manager's Department, will be offset by a decrease of appropriation of the First Council District One-Time Priority Funds in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Depa...
