TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Stipulations with Requests for Awards for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $38,850 for claim of Robert Craig; and $7,200 and $22,050 for claim of Dennis Parker in compliance with the Appeals Board Orders.
DISCUSSION
Robert Craig has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on January 3,2006, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Robert Craig, based upon a 42 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
Dennis Parker has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of
his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and
Finance Committee on January 3,2006, approved the submission to the Workers'
Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City
and Dennis Parker, based upon a 9 percent disability rating, and a 24 percent
disability rating, both with provision for lifetime medical care as may be
necessary.
