Herlinda Chico

Herlinda Chico currently serves as the Field Deputy for Supervisor Janice Hahn where she serves the cities of Avalon/Catalina Island, Long Beach and Signal Hill. She has more than

20 years of legislative and public affairs experience working in local govermnent. Herlinda is a 4th district resident, an active member of the community and serves on several boards.

Planning Commissions

Dr. Joni Ricks-Oddie

Dr. Joni Ricks-Oddie is a 9th district resident and is the University of California, Irvine Director of Statistical Consulting where she oversees general operations and strategic

planning for the Center. She is currently serving as Vice-President for the DeForest Park Neighborhood Association and Long Beach Area Sierra Club. Joni is also a Citizens Police

Complaint Commissioner.
