DISCUSSION
Mayor Beverly O'Neill reports on her travel to the 74th Annual Meeting of The United States Conference of Mayors held in Las Vegas Nevada June 2-6, 2006.
The Annual Meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors addressed a variety of issues impacting America's cities, including energy, poverty, immigration, Avian Flu, homeland security, transportation, telecommunications, public education, and the ongoing fight to save the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).
As President of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, the organization paid all expenses for Mayor O'Neill except for her registration for the annual meeting.
