TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay the sum of $7,500 in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Lindy Ou Chau v. City of Long Beach et al.

DISCUSSION

On July 6, 2008, a Long Beach Police Department vehicle was involved in a traffic collission with Plaintiff's vehicle.  As a result of the accident, Plaintiff suffered injury and incurred medical expenses.

The Economic Development and Finance Committee approved the proposed settlement on March 3, 2009.

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.
