DISCUSSION
Lomita Gasoline Company, Inc., is requesting consent to assign its interest in Facility/Pipeline Permit Supplement No. S-107-84, under Facility/Pipeline Permit No. P190-96, to Elliott Ten Eyck Limited. This assignment will include 2,227 feet of a 4-inch gas pipeline and 1,755 feet of a 6-inch gas pipeline. The route of the pipelines in City property is shown on the attached vicinity map.

Liability insurance and bonding for faithful performance, as required by Section 15.44.220, Permit-Transfer, of the Long Beach Municipal Code, will be processed following City Council authorization of the consent for assignment.
This matter was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney Lori A. Conway on December 13, 2006.

FISCAL IMPACT
An estimated annual permit fee of $2,653.41 for the pipeline will be deposited to the General Fund (GP) in the Department of Public Works (PW).
