TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Stipulations with Requests for Awards for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $19,933.75 for claim of Mariano Bocanegra; and $28,560 for claim of James Reister in compliance with the Appeals Board Order.
DISCUSSION
J ames Reister has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on October 4,2005, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Mr. Reister, based upon a 36 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.

Mariano Bocanegra has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on October 4, 2005, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Mariano Bocanegra, based upon a 27 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
