TITLE

Recommendation to receive and file report on travel to Santa Barbara, CA to attend the Independent Cities Association (ICA) Summer Seminar as a board member and to represent the City of Long Beach.

DISCUSSION

From August 27-29, 2021, I attended the Independent Cities Association Summer Seminar as a current board member and the designated representative for the City of Long Beach. At this meeting, I networked with elected representatives and attended workshops on various municipal issues. I also attended their Board Meeting as an appointed member.

STATEMENT OF URGENCY:

There is no City Council meeting scheduled for 09/21/21, therefore this item was placed on supplemental agenda

FISCAL IMPACT

There is no fiscal impact to file this report.
