TITLE
Recommendation to receive and file the report for the trip to Washington, D.C. for the National League of Cities meeting on March 11-12, 2006.
DISCUSSION
On March 11 and 12,2006, I traveled to Washington, D.C. in order to attend the National League of Cities meeting and to support the League's 2006 City Lobby Day effort. I along with other elected officials from around the country gathered to attend training classes and seminars, to exchange ideas and suggestions and to come together in support for programs and efforts to assist the nation's cities.
