TITLE
Recommendation to approve appointment of representatives to the I-710 Corridor Advisory Committee.
 
BODY
The I-710 Improvement Project utilizes a Corridor Advisory Committee as one of the many different avenues for community involvement.  The Corridor Advisory Committee is comprised of community members, and makes recommendations to the Project Committee.  
 
The City of Long Beach has four appointments to the Corridor Advisory Committee, each nominated by one of the City Councilmembers who have a portion of the I-710 in their district.
 
Members currently appointed include:
 
·      Council District 1:  John Mielke
 
·      Council District 7:  Joan Greenwood
 
·      Council District 9:  Pat Long
 
Councilmember Al Austin has recommended the following representative to the I-710 Corridor Advisory Committee, and I am recommending approval of the nomination:
 
·      8th District:  Gary Hamrick
