DISCUSSION
The City of Long Beach provides services at geographically placed Facilities Centers located throughout the City and at the Multi-Service Center for the Homeless (MSC).
Community-based services are provided by the local non-profit agencies that occupy office space at these sites. Agencies utilizing space at the centers are required to be non-profit agencies, and they must address a critical need at the local level. Space is provided on a first-come first-served basis, based upon availability. All agencies must meet City insurance requirements. As per City requirements, the occupant agencies must execute a FUP with the City.

The Facility Use Permits (FUPs) will be for an initial term of five years and extended at the end of the term upon a determination by the City that the permittees have fully complied with the terms and conditions of the Permits and are otherwise in good standing with the City.
