TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Compromise & Release  for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $11,500 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Ana Casillas.

DISCUSSION

Ana Casillas has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Economic Development and Finance Committee on June 7, 2005 approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Compromise and Release by the City and Ana Casillas, based upon a 14 percent disability rating.
