Citizens' Advisory Commission on Disabilities
Victor Garate
Victor Garate has been working with people with disabilities for more than 15 years. He currently works with Global Paratransit, Inc. a provider for Access Services in the Southern Region of the County and the provider for Long Beach Dial-A-Lift. Victor received his Bachelor of Art in History from the University of California, Irvine.
Gretchen Swanson
Gretchen is a District 2 resident and has more than 45 years of work experience in rehabilitative health and program development. She currently works for Pools of Hope as a clinical physical therapist and mentor to doctoral students. She has served as the Rose Park Neighborhood Association President, on their Board of Directors, Manager of the Long Beach Food Union and she serves as the facilitator of the East 7th St. Collaboration.

Sheila Nem
Sheila is a district 6 resident and was the Economic Justice Director for Khmer Girls in Action where she managed and prepared grant proposals and advanced local and national immigrant and refugee rights initiatives. She also serves as the National Development Director for Southeast Asian Freedom Network and has served as Vice Chair of the Steering Committee for Walk Bike Long Beach.
Cory Allen
Cory Allen is a District 4 resident and is the Campaign & Policy Director for PSC Campaigns. He has spent the past decade serving in a variety of campaign and legislative roles. Cory was formerly Emperor/Fundraising Chair of the International Imperial Court of Long Beach, the longest-running LGBTQ nonprofit in Long Beach, where he raised more than $80,000 for various charities and scholarships in Long Beach.

Jeffrey S. Price
Jeff Price is a CD 7 resident, and a Partner/Shareholder with Morrison, LaRossa, Price & lturrioz, APC Attorneys at Law. He is an active member of the California State PTA Board of Directors, the California Lawyers Association and the Executive Committee on Workers' Compensation. Jeff is a California State University, Long Beach and Whittier Law School Alumni.
David H Sutton
David Sutton is a District 4 resident and he is the Executive Officer Finance-TAP of LA Metro. In his current role he directs the largest Smart Card regional fare collection system in the U.S. serving 26 transit agencies and oversees a diverse department of 81 contract and non-contract staff, including TAP Customer Service. David received his Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts, Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.
