The duties of the Commission shall be to advise and make recommendations to the City Council on matters pertaining to technology and innovation within the City, and more specifically to advise and recommend to the City Council concerning the following: A. The evaluation of research concerning emerging technology and its uses in City government and the community at large; B. The identification of technology needs and opportunities in the community and the recommendation of program strategies for implementation by City staff; C. The evaluation and recommendation of outreach plans for City technology programs; D. Performing such other duties related to technology and innovation as may be requested from time to time by the City Council. See: LBMC 2.50
