(Citywide) DISCUSSION City Council approval is requested to enter into contracts with 12 engineering consultants selected for the delivery of engineering services on an as-needed basis. The City has historically used outside professional firms, on an as-needed basis, to provide engineering services and design for electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, storm drain engineering, or geotechnical engineering when the Public Works Department (PW) does not have sufficient specialized expertise to perform this work with existing staff.
