Zoe Nicholson

Zoe is a long-time writer, researcher, and published author. She is a member of Clergy & Laity United for Economic, Justice, and Convener and President of Pacific Shore NOW. Zoe holds a Master's Degree in Social Ethics from USC. Currently on the Senior Citizens Advisory Commission, Zoe would like to be moved to the Human Relations Commission, where her expertise is best suited.

Gio Ferraro

Gio has long been involved in the Long Beach community, working alongside Back on My Feet, Mental Health America, the Multi-Service Center, Beacon for Him, and the Villages of Cabrillo. Gio is Chair of the DLBA Public Safety Committee and volunteers extensively to provide services for the homeless in Long Beach.

Jessica Marquez

As an individual with a visual impairment, Jessica has learned how to empower not only herself but her community in order to address the difficulties faced by disabled people. Jessica teaches Communication Studies courses at CSULB, focusing on disability studies and societal misconceptions of people with hidden disabilities, and her research examines the history of policymaking for people with disabilities. She hopes to employ her knowledge and experience to improve the lives of others in Long Beach.
